Project SALT in Wickenburg is a certified and registered Hydration Station and Cooling Center within the Maricopa County Heat Relief Network.
They provide water and a safe, air-conditioned place for community members to escape the extreme summer temperatures. In the Arizona heat, access to cold water matters. Project SALT helps provide hydration support 24/7 year-round for Wickenburg-area neighbors, including people experiencing homelessness, families in need, seniors, travelers, and anyone facing hardship during the hottest months of the year.
Through donated water, volunteer support, and community giving, the Hydration Station helps Project SALT offer a simple but life-giving form of care: cold water, kindness, and a place to be seen.
