Who does Project SALT serve?
Project SALT serves Wickenburg-area neighbors facing hardship, hunger, displacement, homelessness, emergency situations, or temporary need. This may include families, seniors, individuals, unhoused neighbors, people living off-grid, and anyone who needs practical support.
Do I have to pay for food, clothing, or supplies?
No. Project SALT does not charge for food, clothing, hygiene items, household goods, or other donated supplies. Items are provided as available through community donations and volunteer support.
What kind of help is available?
Project SALT may be able to help with food boxes, sack lunches, clothing, shoes, hygiene products, household goods, baby supplies, pet supplies, hydration support, prayer, and emergency relief. Availability depends on current donations and inventory.
What is the Hydration Station?
The Hydration Station provides access to clean drinking water during Wickenburg’s hottest months. For some neighbors living off-grid in RVs, parks, washes, and desert areas, this may be one of the few dependable places to refill water and stay hydrated.
What are Project SALT’s hours?
Summer Hours of operation are Mon, Wed & Friday 10am - 1pm. Please check the homepage or contact Project SALT before visiting to make sure someone is available.
How can I donate goods?
Project SALT accepts donated goods based on current needs and available space. Common needs may include nonperishable food, bottled water, clothing, shoes, hygiene products, household goods, baby supplies, and pet supplies. Please contact Project SALT before dropping off large items.
How can I make a financial donation?
You can support Project SALT through the Donate page. Donations help provide food, water, clothing, hygiene items, household support, emergency response, and ongoing community programs.
Can I volunteer?
Yes. Volunteers help sort donations, organize clothing, stock shelves, pack sack lunches, support events, assist with community outreach, and help Project SALT serve neighbors with dignity and care.

Yes. Project SALT welcomes support from local businesses, churches, schools, civic groups, ranches, service clubs, and community organizations. Groups can help through food drives, sponsorships, volunteer days, event support, and current-needs collections.
